Our multinational client, one of the key players in the manufacturing of critical power and data transmission products, is looking for a "Procurement Manager" with the following skills and qualifications:

· University degree or equivalent qualification

· 8+ years’ of Supplier Chain Management experience

· Demonstrated ability to work with international team

· Sourcing, negotiation and supply chain management skills

· Ability to build supplier relationship

· Experience with international terms of trade and payment

· Strong project management and problem solving skill

· Good communication and leadership

· Ability to work independently

· Familiar with cable, connector, plastic, metal components

· Knowledge of product development processes

Job Description:

· Lead and manage the Sourcing function to support the department and corporate objectives

· Responsible for communicating and executing sourcing strategies and adopting global procedures leading to continuous improvement in costs, quality and service etc

· Manage the selection of appropriate suppliers, to promote good procurement practice with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards in additions to total costs and capabilities etc

· Provide guidance to the sourcing team to conduct costs analysis and the best solicit the best price and term of supply within given deadline, to support new business quoting opportunity from RFQ team

· Identify, initiate and manage costs savings and alternative sourcing projects in conjunction with department goals including but not limited to annual VABA/PPV budgets to ensure savings are on track against budget

· Tracking of key commodity prices such as PVC, Copper etc to facilitate price negotiation and ensure any commodity price movement is adequately reflected on our purchase price. Validate and involve in negotiation with vendors on prices, VMI, lead time, Procurement contracts etc

· Participate in major NPD projects lead by Engineering team and alternative technic sourcing team to ensure deliverables responsible by our team are completed within the prescribed timeline for the success of the NPD

· Establish and maintain supplier relationship across the organization.

· Develop and preparation of monthly sourcing report for the region & conduct analysis for continuous improvement

· Drive for vendor base consolidation or rationalization for the region

· Plan for QBR & evaluate supplier performance (through pre-established scorecard) and provide feedback to supplier for improvement

· Support any or ad hoc project assignments as required by Global Procurement Director

· Responsible for the training and development of subordinates and oversee the accuracy of work, sourcing data maintenance and proper adherence of standard operating procedures and new procedure implementation
